About The Event

The current problems encountered by the development of science and technology such as: food problems, alternative energy sources, natural resources, disease control, biomedical care, all rely on plant science to provide solutions. In the past, biological research focused more on the regulation of plant physiology by a single factor (whether it is temperature, salinity, transcription factors, etc.); while contemporary science focuses on systematic and network-based investigations, so researchers should be cultivated with a broad and cross-domain Ideas. It is the 90th anniversary of the founding of National Taiwan University. We take this opportunity to organize a series of lecture activities, invite academician-level speakers in related fields, and leverage their rich experience and sensitivity and creativity to science to provide students, teaching and research People have broader thinking.

The Institute of Plant Sciences set the tone for this series of lectures as "Talks with Masters-Academician Plant Science Lectures". Three academicians were invited to come to our school to provide special lectures on the Monday afternoon of the second week of September, October, and November. , And all arrange seminars and tea parties, invite teachers and students to talk, not only promote knowledge exchange, but also assist backwards to expand their contacts.
