Please follow the announcement and working schedule from Office of Academic Affairs of our institute admission.

The various admission are divided into the First Semester (Fall) and the Second Semester (Spring) in every academic year (August 1 to July 31 of the next year). The processing time will be:
[Registration of Admission by Recommendation and Screening for Master/Ph.D. Degree]
Registration at the end of September and oral examination at the end of October, you can enroll in the Spring (February 1) for the following year.
[Direct Admission to Spring Ph.D. Programs for Bachelor/Master Degree]
Apply on the beginning of October, and competitive oral examination will be at the end of October. Student can direct to Spring Ph.D. Program on February 1 at the following year.
[Enrollment for the Fall Master Entrance Exam]
Register at the end of November, and take examination in early February on the following year. Admission will be at Fall in August.
[Admissions for the Ph.D. Program]
Registration in April, and oral examination in late May. Admission will be at Fall in August.
[Direct Admission to Fall Ph.D. Programs for Bachelor/Master Degree]
Apply on the beginning of April, and competitive oral examination will be at the end of May. Student can direct to Fall Ph.D. Program in August. 

Doctoral Academia-Industry Program will need to be admitted by Institute of Plant Biology Ph.D. Program. Transfer into the Doctoral Academia-Industry Program after admission.

Registration, payment, online data entry

Master Program Oral Examination is on 10/31 (Sat.) 8:30 at Life Science Building

The information required is as follows:

1. Diploma or student ID

2. Full Academic Transcript

3. Certificate of Class Ranking

4. Autobiography (including study process and research experience)
5. Other favorable review materials, e.g., research reports, excellent research certificates from the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc.
6. Recommendation letters from two professors (uploaded by recommenders only)

**After the registration materials are uploaded and confirmed, no supplementary materials or updates will be accepted.

Candidates who meet the qualifications for the oral examination are asked to check on their own.

Ph.D. Program Oral Examination is on 10/29 (Fri.) 9:00 at Life Science Building

The information required is as follows:

1. Diploma

2. Academic transcripts of the Bachelor and Master Degree

3. Master thesis (new graduates can upload the draft of the master's thesis)
4. Conceptual plan of Doctoral dissertation research

5. Resume autobiography

6. Other materials helpful for review, e.g., research works, research reports, award records, certificates, etc.
7. Recommendation letters from two professors (unlimited format), only PDF files uploaded by recommenders

**After the registration materials are uploaded and confirmed, no supplementary materials or updates will be accepted.

111 Academic Year Master (2022 Fall) Entrance Exam

A total of three subjects are scheduled for the entrance examination for the master's degree in the 111 academic year
Required Exam:
Professional English (K) (Comprehension test for life science related scientific articles)

Elective Exam: (choose two from the following seven subjects)
  1. Biochemistry (A)
  2. Genetics (B)
  3. Plant Physiology (A)
  4. Molecular Biology (A)
  5. Microbiology (D)
  6. ​Cell Biology (B)
  7. General Botany (B)
